WILLIAM M. TURNER to ASA CALVERT

Know all men by their [witness?] that we William M. Turner and Nancy Jane his wife of the County of Marion in State of Missouri for and in consideration of the sum six hundred and fifty five dollars (side note – “to us in hundreds”) by Asa and John R. Colbert [should be Calvert] of the County and State of Missouri at and before the sealing and delivery in their presence the receipt is hereby acknowledged and have granted bargains and sold and by their witness do grant, bargain, and sell unto Asa and John R. Colbert them several rods or parcels of situated, lying, and being in the County of Marion being known on the plot of said town as follows, to wit. The north half of the south west quarter of section 17 in township 57 Range 7 west, also the north east quarter of the south east quarter of section number 18 township number 57 Range number 7 west and the north east quarter of the north west quarter of Section 20 township number 57 Range 7 west and containing in all one hundred and ninety acres of land to have and to hold this above divided tract of land together with the improvements and appertained there unto belonging to them, to wit, said Asa and John R. Colbert
