1. John1 Calvert was born 4-1-1823 in Durham, England, and died 3-26-1894 in Hardin Twshp, Green Co, IA. Hemarried Ann Brunskill in abt 1843. John arrived NY, NY July 1853. Naturalized 8-14-1856. John was a civil war veteran. He lived in Henry and Rock Island Co's IL.. after suffering a stroke he moved, late in life to Green Co, IA to live with his son Thomas in whose home he died. He did not remarry after the death of his wife Ann.

i. Thomas Calvert - born 11-16-1844 in Crook, Durham Co, Eng. d 5-20-1913 in Dana IA
ii. Robert Calvert - born 3-14-1849 in Little Chilton, Durham Co, Eng.

iii. Matthew Calvert - born Abt. 1859;
- m. Elizabeth Cooley 3-20-1880 in Rock Island, IL.
- died 1930 in Sand Coulee Cemetery, Cascade Co, MT.
iv. John Calvert, born in WI, died in Infancy.
v. Hannah Calvert, born in Atlantic Ocean.
vi. Mary Calvert, born 1847; died 1847.
vii. Mary Calvert, born 1851, died young.

2. Thomas Calvert was born 11-16-1844 in Crook, Durham Co, England, and
died 5-20-1913 in Dana, IA. He married Margaret Peacock 5-9-1867 in New Diggings,
Lafayette County, WI, daughter of Thomas Peacock and Mary Hutchinson. Thomas brought his family came to New Diggings, WI about 1850. He was a civil war vet according to records.
Children of Thomas Calvert and Margaret Peacock are:
i. Mary Ellen Calvert. She married Edward Davenport.
ii. Ida Ann Calvert. She married Jesse Hillman.
iii. John Quincy Calvert. He married Mary Wilkins.
iv. Thomas Grant Calvert, born 1878. He married Mary Allen.
v. Robert William Calvert.
vi. Matthew Henry Calvert. He married Olive Teasdale.
vii. Margaret Irene Calvert, born 12-25-1873 in New Diggings, Lafayette County, WI;
Margaret died 5-26-1913 in Paton Cemetery, Dana, IA.
3. Robert Calvert (John) was born 3-14-1849 in Little Chilton, Durham Co, England, and died 7-20-1939 in Paton Township Cemetery, Paton, Green Co, IA. He married Eva Mandler in Rock Island 4-7-1873.
